Exceptional milkers, cherished companions
Our GMDSSD Ranch SafeHaven Mini Nubians are renowned for their outstanding milking abilities. We pride ourselves on easy milk training after kidding, a testament to their docile nature. Every one of our kids is bottle-raised, fostering a unique bond and making them incredibly easy to handle. We maintain a robust vaccination program tailored for our herd and ensure coccidia prevention for our kids, guaranteeing a healthy start and a thriving life. Our herd is clean tested for CL, CAE, Johnes, and Qfever, reflecting our commitment to superior health standards.
Award-winning genetics & proven production
Beyond their endearing personalities, our Mini Nubians are champions. We've proudly bred Grand Champion does, bucks, and bucklings, celebrating wins in 2025 and prior years. Our girls consistently produce exceptional milk; we boast top-ten placements in 305-day milk testing in 2024, and all our does earned their milk stars in 2025. We meticulously keep milk records from 2024-2025 and will continue milk testing this year, proving their genetic excellence for both the show ring and the milk bucket. Our girls show for 4-H and FFA, plus open class shows in North Dakota, demonstrating their versatility and quality.
Meet chocolate & our growing family
Every goat has a story, and ours are filled with triumphs. Take Chocolate, our special doe, who exceeded all expectations by producing an incredible 10 lbs at peak. She's truly one of a kind! In 2024, we welcomed a new addition, Amanda, our charming LaMancha doe, who will be having babies this year. She's been bred to our buck Ranger, who proudly carries a +B on record. At GMDSSD Ranch SafeHaven, we hope you fall in love with these remarkable animals, just as we have. We offer farm tours and a mentor program for 4-H to teach kids about showing, milking, and milk testing.
